Currently if you do certain actions in a Gliffy Diagram, it will disable the Export as GXML and Export as SVG options. This happens because the changes you made are not supported on GXML or SVG.
These are the following actions that will currently disable GXML and SVG exports:
Please note: In Gliffy for Confluence v6.0 and above, the SVG export has been removed temporarily to allow some major revamps. This will be available again in Gliffy for Confluence v6.1.
I have a Gliffy diagram that was able to export to SVG then several version later this option was grayed out. I need to know what I have to unwind to make this work. The explanation given "Moving text on lines, Multiple text per line, UML cardinality" might make sense to the Gliffy software development team but not to me! Please can you provide verbose descriptions of these scenarios, thanks.
This gets worse, I tried to rewind to an earlier version that I was able to export from and the SVG option was still disabled!
If you want to be able to export to visio from this product you should NOT use it, I am now left with the task of cut and pasting every bit of text from my diagrams into another tool, wasting a lot of time and making this definitely NOT cheaper than using Visio.
Those features are:
Moving text on lines: http://www.gliffy.com/user-manual/#article_200Multiple text per line: http://www.gliffy.com/user-manual/#article_201UML cardinality: http://www.gliffy.com/user-manual/#article_199
Unfortunately once it is disabled there is not a way to re-enable it. We are introducing a new SVG feature which has this capability and is currently in beta mode. You can locate this under Labs->New SVG Export (beta).
I am using jira 6.1.2 and the option to export to SVG is still missing. When will it be fixed?
